Terms of Use & Disclaimer

TechBy Pty Ltd · Sydney, NSW, Australia · Contact

By using this site you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy, Cookies, and AI Disclosure. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

1. About these Terms

These Terms govern your use of this site. They are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. We may update them — the "Effective" date changes and continued use means acceptance. The Australian Consumer Law (ACL) applies irrespective of these Terms.

2. Who we are

TechBy Pty Ltd — engineering studio delivering agentic AI, cloud, platform and DevSecOps services. Use the contact form for enquiries.

2. Intellectual property

All text, graphics, schematics, diagrams, code samples and branding (except third-party sources cited on News/Blog) are owned or licensed by TechBy and protected by Australian copyright and trade-mark law. You may view/print for personal, non-commercial reference. No copying, framing, scraping, or training of ML models on our content without prior written consent — crawling only per robots.txt and llms.txt.

Third-party blog sources remain property of their cited publishers; we link with attribution under fair dealing/citation.

3. Acceptable use — don't

We may block access, reject submissions, and report unlawful activity.

4. Enquiries & proposals — no obligation

Sending a brief is not a contract. We review within one business day (Sydney time), reply with scope/estimate, and proceed only on a signed statement of work. Auto-reply is administrative only — not acceptance.

5. Careers & talent — equal opportunity

Roles are merit-based. TechBy is an equal-opportunity employer — we assess on skills, production experience and values, without regard to age, sex, gender identity, disability, ethnicity, religion, veteran status or other protected attributes (per Fair Work Act 2009 and NSW anti-discrimination law). You warrant your CV/claims are truthful and you have the right to share them. Do not include others' personal data without consent. Misrepresentation may lead to withdrawal of an offer and, where lawful, reporting.

6. News / Blog — AI-assisted, not advice

News digests are curated by an automated agent summarising public sources with attribution. See AI Disclosure: content is not advice, may contain errors/hallucinations, verify before relying.

7. Links & third parties

The site links to external sources. We do not control their content and are not liable. Inclusion does not mean endorsement. Your use of linked sites is subject to their terms.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Site provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we exclude warranties (merchantability, fitness, non-infringement, availability). Nothing excludes ACL guarantees that cannot be excluded. Where we can limit, liability for non-ACL breaches is limited to resupplying access or its cost.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential or loss-of-profit damages from site use, form rejection, or reliance on News content. Aggregate liability capped at AUD $100 for site use alone (excluding paid engagements under a separate SOW).

9. General information only

Content on this site (capabilities, diagrams, case patterns, blog posts) is provided for general information. It is not professional advice, nor a substitute for independent diligence. Laws, cloud pricing, model behaviour and security threats change — check current sources. We make no representation that the site is complete, current or error-free.

10. Not advice — AI, cloud, security

References to agentic systems, LLMOps, MLOps, cloud architecture or DevSecOps are illustrative patterns, not tailored recommendations. No statement should be taken as warranty that a given approach will suit your environment, comply with your regulatory obligations, or be secure in your threat model. Seek qualified advice for production decisions.

11. News / Blog — AI-generated, not advice; verify

Our daily News/Blog digests are AI-generated and AI-curated from significant public sources, with attribution and links to the primary source. See AI Disclosure for method. This content:

We are not liable for loss arising from reliance on AI-generated digests.

12. Services, proposals & estimates

Capability descriptions are not offers. Any scope, pricing or timeline mentioned pre-contract is indicative. Binding terms arise only in a signed agreement. Past performance does not guarantee future outcomes.

13. Applications — equal opportunity, accuracy & retention

Equal opportunity: TechBy is an equal-opportunity employer. We assess on skills, demonstrated production work and alignment with our principles — without regard to age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, national origin, religion, veteran status or other protected characteristics under Australian and NSW law. Inclusivity is how we interview (structured, work-sample based) and decide.

14. Forward-looking statements

Any statements about future tech, roadmaps or market conditions are expectations only, subject to change without notice.

15. Third-party content & links

News references cite primary publishers. Their copyright remains with them. External links are for convenience; we do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.

16. Warranties & liability

Site provided "as is" without warranties (uptime, accuracy, fitness, non-infringement). To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law (subject to non-excludable ACL guarantees), TechBy is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss from use or reliance on its content, including AI digests. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying access or its cost.

15. Indemnity

You indemnify TechBy for loss arising from your unlawful use, infringing content you submit, or false claims.

16. Privacy

Collection/use/disclosure per our Privacy Policy (APPs) and Cookies Policy. By submitting, you consent to storage, transactional email and anti-spam verification as described there.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach, spam, or legal requirement without notice.
